We just finished using Ready Seal Natural Cedar oil based stain and sealer. As per other comments we were very happy with how it covered and saturated the cedar fence. If fence is year old powerwashand let dry. Buy a moisture tester and check if its under 12% before sealing. We used a sprayer which worked well. We did hand brush to avoid overspray near neighbors fence. We regret not buying a spray gun that would be able to draw from a 5 gallon bucket. Ours only worked with the provided small container. So we lost time refilling that. The seal did not streak or showed overlap marks. Nice! Wait at least 45 minutes before the recommended second coat. Definitely would buy this again.
